Arrived 10.30am on a Saturday. Outside tables, being only 3 small ones were all occupied but inside plenty of seating. Only one table occupied. Their specialty is waffles freshly made and got with all sorts of fillings: breakfast ingredients and more variety. I asked some questions about the waffles and was pleasantly answered. A pleasure to find a different selection of food (waffles) on the menu. Mine was delicious.

Such a lovely local gem! Great coffee, thoughtful food, and super friendly staff — it really feels like a neighborhood spot where everyone knows each other. The owner was chatting with regulars the whole time, which made the atmosphere even warmer. There are so many different jaffles to choose from (I had serious decision paralysis ), but my top picks are the bacon, egg & hash brown, and the butter chicken ones — both are amazing. I also tried the Dang Dang Benedict this time and loved it. I thought it might be too heavy with the beef and sauce, but the kale balanced it out surprisingly well. The avocado on toast came with a white sauce (not sure what it was, but it worked beautifully with pesto!) — really brought the whole dish together. So glad to have such a cozy and delicious spot in the neighborhood.

I had an amazing solo brunch here at Urban Grind! Welcomed by staff as soon as I waked in and it’s such a beautiful spacious area, with views of the road. I ordered the chicken waffle and it exceeded my expectations, every bite was a party and compliments each element on the plate so well.

This is our new favourite breakfast spot! A much needed Sunday breakfast spot for the area. The food is amazing, the staff are super friendly and lovely, and I love seeing what new breakfast items or drinks they have on the specials boards. Great value for money too.
